St. Vincent's Academy show support with sea of pink

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Going pink to help fight breast cancer.

For the third straight year as St. Vincent's Academy's girl's volleyball team battled the Lady Cav's, a sea of pink was seen in the stands and on the court.

This year the school is raising money for the Young Survivor's Coalition, with everything from ticket sales to 50-50 and even a chance to pie assistant principal Sister Pat Coward.

"A number of our graduates and women in the community are part of this organization and we raised 4,000 dollars last year, and we want to raise 4,000 this year. That's our goal." said Sister Pat Coward.

Final numbers are expected Friday to see how much the pink night raised. We'll keep you posted.
