SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Downtown Business Association is showcasing some of Savannah's most famous squares. They'll hold a social networking event in Wright square Friday night with drinks and live music. It's going to be an old-fashioned block party, highlighting the history of Wright Square, and also promoting nearby businesses.

"For our member business's it is a wonderful opportunity to come down and introduce themselves to people that may not be familiar with their business's," said Cari Clark. "We have business's that may be open later, restaurants will be open as well as gift shops in the area to promote themselves. As well as those vendors in that area to meet and mingle with Savannah."

The cost to attend is $5 in advance (purchase at www.wrightsquareparty.eventbrite.com) and $10 at the door, which includes food and two drink tickets. Future block parties will rotate through Savannah's other squares.

Everyone in the community is invited to this social networking event and experience what is happening in downtown Savannah as a "Night of Indulgence" is celebrated Friday, September 17th, from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wright Square in downtown Savannah. Future parties will rotate through Savannah's other squares.
