COLLETON CO., SC (WTOC) – A Colleton County woman who had been reported missing has been found safe.

The Colleton Co. Sheriff's Office said Audrenna Attanasio, 19, had walked away from her home on the afternoon of Sept. 25.

The sheriff's office got a call Monday from The Lil Owl Care Assistance for the Homeless Facility in Alvin, S.C., regarding Attanasio. The facility told deputies they had seen her picture on the news.

A representative from the facility called the sheriff's office and stated that Attanasio is safely at their facility. She had been picked up on Sept. 25, 2010 by one of their drivers, who was traveling in the Green Pond area and noticed her walking and felt she needed shelter, according to the sheriff's office.
