SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The 2nd Annual Savannah Charity Golf Tournament has been postponed to Monday, Oct. 4 due to rain.
Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. Shotgun start is at 1 p.m. at Southbridge Golf Club.
"I appreciate all those folks that came out," said tournament volunteer Bill Tumlin. "We're a little disappointed in the weather but maybe things will work out."
The tournament benefits the Southeastern Firefighters' Burn Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded in 1988 by Dr. Joseph M. Still, Jr. The Foundation was created to support burn patients and their families who are being treated at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Ga.
