SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A man charged with raping a special needs woman back in 2009 was back in court on Tuesday.
Lancaster Soloman listened as Savannah Chatham Police Detective Yvette Garcia explained to the judge the evidence they have against him, including a DNA match.
The woman was 17-years-old at the time of the rape, but detectives and family members say she doesn't have the mindset of a 17-year-old. Detective Garcia even explained the woman's mindset is that of a five or six-year-old.
Judge Tammy Stokes found there was enough evidence against Soloman to send this case to a grand jury.
