SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Savannah Waterfront Association will be hosting 27th annual Oktoberfest on the River starting Friday along Savannah's riverfront.
Festivities will include karaoke, a car show, a sausage eating contest and more. This year, the festival will feature fried beer. There will be beverage stations with beer and wine, Repicci's Italian Ice, Savannah Kettle Corn, Wet Willies, First Fried fireworks and arts, crafts and non-profit exhibitors.
AAA Auto Club South and Budweiser offer Tow-to-Go, which allows those who have had too much to drink at the event to get a free rid e and tow home. Call Tow-to-Go at 800-AAA-HELP.
