SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - There will be striping changes made in the area of Gardens corner and U.S. Highway 17 to prepare for a new traffic pattern.
The striping will take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 2. Drivers will experience short traffic delays are should use caution in the construction zone. There will be flaggers, construction signage and message boards to alert drivers and help with traffic flow.
After the striping is finished, traffic will need to travel at 35 mph/15 mph through the new traffic pattern, according to the South Carolina Department of Transportation. If the striping work doesn't not finish on Saturday it will continue into Sunday.
