SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – A Savannah man has been charged in connection with the robbery of a credit union in Rincon last week.
Antwon Johnall Proctor, 30, was sought by Savannah-Chatham metro police for questioning in reference to a recent robbery on Wednesday afternoon.
Within a few hours Proctor arrived at police headquarters after hearing he was wanted, according to police. He was questioned by SCMPD detectives and released.
On Thursday, SCMPD detectives arrested Proctor on warrants issued by the Rincon Police Dept.
Rincon Police Chief Mike Bohannon said Proctor has been charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit a crime, kidnapping, false imprisonment and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
