    Summer Bonanza was held at the Memorial Medical Center Auditorium on Saturday.  The event aimed to give children a place to go in the summer where they could learn, gain role models, and have fun. "Kids in the community have some place to come and have fun for a Saturday during the summer and we work with them in their education, give them a lot of information to help them during the summer," said Angela Dorsey, director.     Two arrested in connection to Burton burglaries

    The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office has made two arrests connected to several burglaries and vehicle break-ins in Burton. The break-ins occurred mostly on Mroz, Laurel Bay, and Rugrack roads. Deputies were able to gather forensic evidence from each of the scenes. Two suspects have been arrested in connection to a burglary at the Reach Out and Touch Ministries, a home break-in on Rugrack Road, and two vehicle break-ins on Mroz and Laurel Bay roads.

    America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia hosted a Pop Up Produce on Saturday.  It was the third Pop Up Produce America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia has hosted. The food bank got several donations of fresh produce, dairy and bread.
