SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – The Chatham Emergency Management Agency will conduct its monthly test of the county's emergency warning siren system at 12 p.m. on Oct. 6.
The siren test will be canceled if there's rain or overcast weather.
Chatham County residents will hear a three-minute emergency siren from various locations around the county. This monthly test is necessary to ensure that the Emergency Warning Siren System is working properly.
