SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Funeral plans are set for Lori Arrowood, a soldier's wife who was slain in Liberty County. Sgt Nathon Arrowood was in Iraq when his wife was killed.

He is home now and is talking to WTOC.

Bureau Chief Dal Cannady has been following the story since Arrowood disappeared last weekend. He sat down with Nathon Arrowood over the weekend.

He's every bit as devastated as anyone could imagine. His wife was killed a few weeks short of their one year anniversary. Cannady spoke with clarity about the wife he loved and the man accused in her death.

Nathon Arrowood talked about the helpless feeling of getting notification of her disappearance and being on the other side of the world and unable to do anything. He also talked about his suspicion of his wife's friend, Kenny Lumpkin and Lumpkin's involvement in the search.

"How could someone have the audacity? How? To face family, to face her daughter -- it's beyond me," he said.

The funeral service is at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Gum Branch Baptist Church.

Nathan Arrowood said he heard from Kenny Lumpkin last week during the search while the army was trying to get Nathon back home.
