Savannah High celebrates homecoming

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Nothing says fall like a homecoming parade. The pride and excitement of students and faculty at Savannah High were on full display as the entire student body wrapped up "wacky Thursday" with a parade.

Students dressed in wacky clothing to show off their school spirit as they lined up to watch the marching band and members of the RTOC perform. Some members of the school faculty also got involved and had the chance to participate in the fun.

"This was also my first parade and i got to ride my motorcycle in the parade. It was a great event to see the kids get school spirit and everything and try to get things back to the way savannah high used to be," said Coach George Johnson.

After the parade the celebration continued with a pep rally. Friday's theme is school spirit day, where many students will wear their school colors.
