SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Tuesday night was a time to honor some of the people who make our area a great place to live.
Savannah's Junior Achievement and Colonial Oil honored three new members, inducting them into the Savannah Business Hall of Fame.
One of Savannah' biggest realtors, David Byck, was honored along with Gus Bell, a partner in one of the country's biggest engineering firms, and last but not least Savannah's own queen of the kitchen, Paula Deen.
"Just thank you for what Junior Achievement does for this community. I mean, like I said, they're second to none to teach young men and women how to work hard with good work ethics," said Bell.
Our very own Mike Manhatton was there serving as the awards emcee.
