SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Fall's the time for football and homecoming, but you don't need a team to celebrate.
Graduates of the University of Phoenix dropped in to reconnect with old classmates and meet new ones. It's a night filled with guest speakers and recognitions for alums who've really made a difference in the community, giving everyone a sense of togetherness.
"I think for any alumni, they want to feel like they're a part of something larger and by having events like this, they have an opportunity to meet with people that maybe they took classes with," said Associate Campus Director Melissa Jackson.
The University of Phoenix has a campus in Savannah and has more than 560,000 grads nationwide.
