Effingham County parade kicks off Fair Day

EFFINGHAM COUNTY, GA (WTOC) - Effingham County is kicking off Fair Day with their annual parade in Springfield. Festivities started at 5:00 p.m. The theme this year is lending a hand to save our land.

Fair organizers say along with all the usual fair events, they have all kinds of educational exhibits that will interest everyone in the community, no matter their age.

"They'll find lots of things for all ages. Lots of activities, great food and lots of rides and fun activities and fellowship," said Beth Epling, Effingham County Fair. "A lot of people that's the only time they get to see people, is here at the fair."
