Police officers plead not guilty in Tybee Tasing

TYBEE ISLAND, GA (WTOC) - Two former Tybee police officers plead not guilty Monday morning on charges stemming from the Tasing of an autistic 18-year-old back in May.

Thirty-six-year-old Timothy Sullivan and 25-year-old  Travis Daniels stood before Judge Morse and said they wanted jury trials. Back in August both were indicted by a grand jury on charges of not telling the whole truth when first questioned about the Tasing.

A motion hearing for Sullivan and Daniel will take place October 29.

The teen was Tased by the offivers while sitting outisde a restaurant during Tybee's annual Beach Bun Parade.
