Pumpkin patch benefits youth ministry

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) - Carteret Street United Methodist Church is selling pumpkins of all sizes and shapes to help you have a fun Halloween while benefiting their youth minestry at the same time.

This year, they have more 3,000 pumpkins purchased from a farmer in New Mexico.

"The money we receive goes towards our youth minestry and in this church and also we share the cost with the growers so the money they receive goes to help the Navajo Indians they employ," said Carteret Street UMC Pastor Lora Byrd.

The pumpkin patch is open daily in Beaufort. Prices range from 50 cents to $20.
