SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - People are living it up for the Relay for Life.
Tuesday night was the kickoff event for fundraising for the 2011 campaign in Savannah. This year they hope to raise $260,000 to help fight cancer.
"That's what so great about the American Cancer Society, the teams can get as creative as they want, and do as many things as they want to raise the money to be a part of Relay for Life," said Mike Steele, the community manager of the American Cancer Society.
They hope to have around a 150 teams this year and there's still time to sign up.
