SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Oatland Island Wildlife Center is hosting its annual HarvestFest next month.
The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 13. There will be hearth baked corn bread, simmering cane syrup, apple butter and other open-fire cooked foods.
The Savannah Folk Music Society and the Home Cookin' Cloggers will fill the forest with traditional rhythms while children enjoy Oatland's "Native Animal Nature Trail", hay rides, crafts and games.
Bring in three non-parishable food items for the Second Harvest Food Bank to help them stock up for the needy during the upcoming holiday season, and receive a free general admission pass for a future trip to Oatland. Food and refreshment concessions will be available. Admission is $7 for 18 and older, $5 for military, seniors and children 4-17.
