United Way prize patrol visits St. Joseph's Candler

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - There's less than three weeks left in the United Way Campaign and the prize patrol is hustling to get all the prizes awarded before the big finish.

Camille Russo and her winged entourage were at St. Joseph's Candler Hospital on Monday where they surprised Tina Blakely with fairy dust and a lifetime supply of paper products from Georgia Pacific. Tina's name was drawn because she attended a United Way Campaign meeting and filled out the United Way card.

"We still have campaigns in the community going on and so we want to encourage people to go to those meetings and to fill out those little green forms becuase we still have prizes left," said 2010 United Way Campaign Chair Camille Russo.

A Target shopping spree, a Savannah staycation and groceries for year are still waiting for  a lucky United Way supporter.
