SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The sweet sounds of jazz filled the air on Armstrong Atlantic's campus Sunday courtesy of the US Army Jazz Ambassadors of Washington D.C.
The sounds of big band swing, jazz, dixieland and latin tunes filled the auditorium, as well as some patriotic songs.
"I think all of the service bands intend to convey a message of strength in unity, particularly at a time when we're at war. It's a time for us to rally together and music is one of the arts that help us do that," said Mario Incorvaia.
The Jazz Ambassadors travel thousands of miles every year throughout the US, Europe and Asia.
