Third ID Soldiers to Return

There's some wonderful news for the families of Fort Stewart soldiers deployed to the Persian Gulf region. About 950 soldiers with the Third Infantry Division are coming home this weekend.

Most of the soldiers are with the 24th Corps Support Group, which provided support and supplies to front line troops during the war. Major Buford Blount, the commander of the Third Infantry Division, says the rest of the division should be home by the end of August.
