Seniors learn about applying to college

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - This week is Georgia Apply to College Week and counselors with the state run are visiting high schools to help students with their college applications.

On Tuesday, counselors stopped at Savannah High School to show juniors and seniors the ropes of the website. The students say the counselors were extremely helpful.

"It's actually easier because you don't have to print off all the paper and things like that. It's just all right there," Savannah High Senior James Sinclair told WTOC. "Do it early. Get on it early. It's a step by step process and the counselors help, so it's very easy."

"I recommend all students to do this. It's very east and it's the quickest way for you to get accepted into college," said Savannah High Senior Patrice Ellison.
