Richmond Hill JROTC wins big in national competition

RICHMOND HILL, GA (WTOC) - The Richmond Hill High School JROTC Wildcat Battalion recently competed in the 2010 National Raider Competition in Molena, GA.

The combined male, female and mixed teams brought home a total of 14 trophies, including two Overall First Runner Up trophies.

The Male Team took first place in the 5K run, second place in the Rope Bridge, third place in the Gauntlet and fourth place in Personal Fitness.

The Female Team took second place in the 5K run, second place in the Gauntlet, second place in the Rope Bridge, fourth place in the Cross Country Rescue and fifth place in Personal Fitness

The Mixed Team took second place in the Rope Bridge.

Cadet Cody Bryson took second place in the Ultimate Raider Challenge, Male. Cadet Alina Gonzalez took fifth place in the Ultimate Raider Challenge, Female.
