SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The City of Savannah is teaming up with Savannah Technical College to help residents get jobs in the distribution and manufacturing industries. You can learn more about the job training programs at a series of upcoming information sessions at the Moses Jackson Advancement Center.
Nov. 16, 11 a.m.
Nov. 30, 6:30 p.m.
Dec. 1, 1 p.m.
Dec. 2, 1 p.m.
The two programs being offered are Certified Warehousing and Distribution Specialist training; and Certified Manufacturing Specialist Training - two fields that are currently hiring in the Savannah area. There is a $20 application fee and you'll need to bring a copy of your GED or high school transcript.
