Coming up on THE News: Volunteers hard at work

Here are stories WTOC is working on: Volunteers are working round the clock at the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition site. WTOC's Lynda Figueredo talked to some who are providing their skills and food to hundreds at the work site. 

The body of a black male was discovered Wednesday morning near a daycare center. The death is being investigated as suspicious. Lynda Figueredo has more details.

    Subtropical Storm Alberto continues to bring heavy rain and a high risk for rip currents to the Gulf Coast.  Alberto is just west of Tampa and moving to north by northwest at 12mph.  Peak winds are 50 mph and no significant strengthening is expected as we head into Monday.
