SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - People sampled the best at the Annual Taste of Savannah Thursday night. The top restaurants and caterers showcased everything they have to offer and many people were there to try it all.
Best of all, the proceeds will go to help strengthen our local economy by helping fund the Savannah Area Tourism Leadership Council's programs and services.
"We work on advocacy for the industry. We give scholarships to students pursuing hospitality careers. We work on educational initiatives and workforce development for the industry and just try to bring the industry together for a unified voice," said Marti Barrow, Executive Director of Savannah Tourism Leadership.
