Savannah fuel prices remain below national average

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – The average retail gasoline price in Savannah dropped 2 cents in the past week, averaging $2.74 per gallon on Sunday, according to The price remains below the national average, which dropped only 1.3 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.87 per gallon, the website reports.

Including the change in gas prices in Savannah during the past week, prices on Sunday were 22.0 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 2.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

The national average has increased 4.1 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 22.9 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
