Bluffton school recognized for innovative program

BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) - Bluffton Elementary was recognized for its Animate Me program by a state educational technology association.

The school was recognized by the South Carolina Association for Educational Technology at the annual SC Educational Technology Conference that was held from Oct. 27 to 29 in Myrtle Beach.

In the Animate Me program, students use ToonBoom and FlipBoom animation software to extend their learning by connecting classroom instruction, assignments and concepts with artistic capabilities, according to the Beaufort County School District.
