Four people are still in the hospital tonight after a deadly six car pileup in Beaufort on Saturday night. It happened around 9:30 p.m. on the Broad River Bridge on Highway 170. Police say a Mustang loaded with five people hit an oncoming car, spun out of control, then hit five more cars before coming to a stop. All five people in the Mustang had to be cut out of the car. One man died. Four others were rushed to the hospital. Police say none of the victims were wearing seatbelts. Investigators believe alcohol was a contributing factor to the accident. Officers say no one in any of the other cars were hurt.
