Freeze watch issued until Thursday

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A freeze watch in effect from late Wednesday night through
Thursday morning.

The warning affects these Georgia counties: Bacon, Wayne, Glynn and Ware.

A freeze watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible for at least two hours.

Strong cold air advection on Wednesday behind a cold front will bring below freezing temperatures to much of the interior, according to the National Weather Service.

Minimum temperatures across inland southeast Georgia and Suwannee River valley of northeast Florida will bottom out in the upper 20s to lower 30s with four to six hours below freezing.
