Soldiers Arrive at Ft. Stewart on Sunday

More troops from the Third Infantry Division are back home tonight after spending months away from their families. More than 40 soldiers from the 233rd HET Platoon arrived to a hero's welcome at Fort Stewart. Their families had been waiting for them to arrive since five o'clock this morning.

When they finally did meet up with their families again, some soldiers still couldn't believe they were back home. "It's a shock," explained Specialist Aaron Osborn. "It's so much different from the sand. It's beautiful. I love it here."

The 233rd HET Platoon was responsible for transporting tanks and other artillery vehicles.
