Christmas arrives early in Metter

METTER, GA (WTOC) - Plenty of people went to IHS pharmacy Tuesday night with toys to donate to the Toys for Tots drive.

The Marine Corps Reserves will distribute the toys to less fortunate children in the area. Store owners also offered discounts for toys bought there and donated, but they said its all about teaching children to give to others.

"It doesn't matter if you buy them here, we just want the toys. It doesn't matter where you buy them, we'll help distribute them to those in need," said Dean Stone, store owner.

Santa was also there for pictures with the little ones.

You can drop off toys at the store over the next few weeks before they make their deliveries.
