HUTCHINSON ISLAND, GA (WTOC) - Agricultural planes were demonstrating dropping water on the Savannah River Monday.
The demonstration is part of the National Agricultural Aviation Association's annual meeting taking place this week at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center.
Hundreds of people stoff outside to watch the aircraft demonstrate the latest technology in aviation.
"What you have here is a Fireboss it scoops up water. It's a seaplane one that floats and drops that water to simulate putting out a forest fire," Nation Agricultual Executive Director Andrew Moore.
This is the first time the National Agricultural Aviation Association is holding their annual conference through the week, bringing more than 1,800 people to The Hostess City.
