SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Mayors from dozen of cities in the Coastal Empire teamed up for the annual Mayors' Motorcade at the National Guard Armory to give gifts to patients at Georgia Regional Hospital. The gifts were donated by the community.
"It's an honor, really, to be here to be able to share with people at Christmas time. It is something that we as Americans do, it defines us as Americans to be able share with people who have less than ourselves," said Hinesville Mayor James Thomas.
The tradition dates back to 1958.
