Coming up on THE News: Firefighters save boy

Here are stories WTOC is working on: Bureau Chief Dal Cannady talked with firefighters who saved a boy from a blaze in Bulloch County.

Georgia 21 and northbound Interstate 95 are one of the most dangerous interchanges in Chatham County. After weeks of weather delays the Georgia Department of Transportation construction crews are beginning to add another turn lane off Georgia 21 exit to elevate heavy traffic flow. WTOC's Brooke Kelley has the story.

Lowcountry reporter Jaime Dailey is looking into an armed robbery at an Auto Zone in Beaufort. The robbery suspects are still at large.

Christy Hutchings has a full report from the Springfield courtroom on closing arguments in the Craig Heidt double murder trial.

    Subtropical Storm Alberto continues to bring heavy rain and a high risk for rip currents to the Gulf Coast.  Alberto is just west of Tampa and moving to north by northwest at 12mph.  Peak winds are 50 mph and no significant strengthening is expected as we head into Monday.
