GSU sells out for quarter final game

STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) - The hottest ticket in South Georgia is for a football game Saturday in South Carolina. On Thursday afternoon, Georgia Southern's ticket office sold out of their 2,500 tickets for their game with Wofford. That doesn't count student tickets and others purchased directly from Wofford.

Despite the local sell out, you can still see the game buy purchasing a ticket from Wofford online at athletics.wofford.edu/sports/2007/10/22/GEN_1022075804.aspx?id=5.

"You can go to their website and buy them there. You can even print off your copy and take it with you directly to the gate," said Ticket Manager Kay Shuman.

Between the two ticket locales, Georgia Southern fans hope to out number the Wofford Terriers in their own stadium Saturday.

Whether you are going or not, you can still be a part of the send off when the team leaves on Friday morning at 11 a.m. from the Bishop Fieldhouse.
