SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Some of Savannah's most well-known men are showing off their skills in the kitcken. The 11th annual 100 Celebrity Men Who Cook featured Celebrity Chefs like Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Chief Willie Lovett and Savannah Chatham County Schools Superintendent Dr. Thomas Lockamy.
All of the men who competed to see who had the best homemade dish raised more than $25,000 dollars for the United Negro College Fund.
"For whatever reason that may occur in their life that prevents them to have the financial assistance to pay for their tuition, this emergency assistance aid will be able to step in and help them with that," said Maurice Jenkins, United Negro College Fund.
WTOC's Mike Manhatton and Dawn Baker hosted the fundraiser. There will also be a special on the 100 Celebrity Men Who Cook on January 29, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.
