SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Hunter Army Airfield 260th Quarter Master Battalion put smiles on children's faces on Tuesday.
Soldiers visited Wesley's Women's Home on Drayton Street, where they presented Christmas gifts to about 60 children, who they had adopted for the holidays. Each child received a gift that they will unwrap on Christmas morning.
"It is Christmas and it is an opportunity for us to give of ourselves," said Lt. Col. Jimmy Brown of the 260th Quarter Master Battalion.
The battalion works with the center year-round and made two visits to the center on Tuesday. Each soldier bought a gift for a child.
