Coppa Claus in need of donations

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -  A former Savannah Chatham Metro Police Lieutenant, Rev. Todd Rhodes will bring Christmas cheer to children stuck in the hospital over the holidays or facing other challenges.

Coppa Claus says all the holiday cheer he spreads around is rewarded by the grateful children and thier parents and grandparents.

"Just the opportunity to help those who are really in need. To see the looks on the children's faces in the hospitals, to hear the sincere appreciation in the voices of the mothers and grandparents who are actually raising some of their grandchildren," Coppa Claus told WTOC.

Coppa Claus is still in need of donations.

If you would like to help, you can drop off any new unwrapped toys, gift cards and clothing at the following three locations:

  • SCMPD Headquarters - 201 Habersham Street
  • Savannah Precinct 3 - 1512 Bull Street
