SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - There was a certain buzz at Savannah's City Mission Wednesday night.
For the 16th straight year, The Savannah College of Art and Design donated hundreds of toys to children who otherwise might not have a reason to celebrate.
"This is just a dream come true. You look at this Christmas season and these families that are so much in need and you wonder how can you help and to have a group like Savannah College of Art and Design come in and do this is just amazing," said Frances Carter, interim CEO/President of The Union Mission.
SCAD volunteers and a special toy drive from the SCAD men's lacrosse team helped make Wednesday's giveaway a success.
