For the second time in less than two weeks, a group of Hispanic men have become the target of a home invasion. About midnight Sunday, the residents of a Savannah house off Highway 17 tell police someone knocked on their front door. When they went to answer it, two masked men were there with what the residents describe as a machine gun.
The victims tell police one of the suspects held the gun against the head of one resident while the other suspect took their cash. A suspect also hit one of the men in the head with the gun, then the suspects sped away in a vehicle.
The victims are here on work visas. A similar incident happened to them at the same house a little over a week ago.
