Jasper County man remains missing

JASPER CO., GA (WTOC) - The Jasper County Sheriff's Office is still looking for an 18-year-old who has been missing since Dec. 16.

The sheriff's office said Jeremy Michael Vanalstyne suffers from mental illness and may be in need of medical attention. He was last seen in the Hardeeville area wearing white sweatpants, a striped polo-style shirt and a denim jacket. Vanalstyne is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 250 pounds.

It is believed that Vanalstyne may be in the Savannah area. Those with information can call the sheriff's office at 843.726.7519.
