SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A very special guest took some time out of his busy schedule to spread some Christmas cheer. Santa Claus rode into the 165th airlift wing a little early this year to meet with families from the Air National Guard.
On Monday, Santa made his grand entrance on a fire truck instead of his reindeer. He tells WTOC the reindeer are resting for Christmas Eve.
Children had the chance to make some last minute gift requests, check their naughty or nice status and even got some early presents.
"I think it's great, the commraderie you know. It brings out the family and the kids together and then we get to meet each other, see each other at least once a year," said Charles Drown of Savannah.
