GLYNN COUNTY, GA (WTOC) - A Glynn County man has died after being Tased by police. The incident happened on Monday night when Glynn County police arrested 35-year-old Christopher Knight. Police pulled Knight over and arrested him for being under the influence of alcohol.
Police say as they put Knight in the back seat of the police car he started kicking and as a result was Tased.
After Knight was Tased police say he rolled over and what appeared to be a piece of cocaine came out of his mouth and he was nonreponsive.
They performed CPR but Knight was pronounced dead at the hospital.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday and the Glynn County Internal Affairs office is now investigating.
