Autopsy set for man who died after Tasing

GLYNN CO., GA (WTOC) – An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday on the body of a Glynn County man who died after being Tased by Glynn County police.

It happened Monday night when police arrested Christopher Knight on charges of driving under the influence. Police say as they put Knight in the back seat of the police car and he started kicking so he was Tased. Police say he rolled over and what appeared to be a piece of cocaine came out of his mouth  and he was not responsive. They performed CPR, but Knight was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The Glynn County Internal Affairs Office is now investigating.
