Several injured in West Chatham crash

POOLER, GA (WTOC) - Seven people were injured after two cars collided at the intersection of John Carter and Little Neck roads in Pooler.

The Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene. They did have to shut down those roads for awhile to investigate the wreck.

All seven people were taken to Memorial University Medical Center. They're names nor their conditions were not known.

    After years of an almost complete moratorium, the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council voted 12 to 1 Monday to open a limited 2017 red snapper fishing season in the South Atlantic. If approved by NOAA Fisheries, the season will likely begin in mid-to late October.
