GA DOT awards $29 million in construction contracts

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Georgia Department of Transportation has awarded dozens of contracts for projects across the state.

The work, valued at $29 million, includes resurfacing roadways and rehibilitating bridges on state and federal highways.

Counties across Georgia, including Chatham and Appling, recieved millions of dollars for local transportation improvement prohects.
