Savannah Riverfront is having fireworks at the stoke of midnight to ring in the New Year.

Note: The Wet Willie's First Friday Fireworks, which would have normally been on January 7, have been canceled. They will resume on Feb. 4.

Tow To Go - AAA and Budweiser have teamed up to offer their Tow To Go service. Tow To Go provides a confidential ride home and a tow free of charge to anyone who has had too much to drink. All you have to do is call 1.800.AAA.HELP (4357).

Tybee Island

Tybee Island will have fireworks launched from the Walter Parker Pier Pavillion.
When: Jan. 1, 2011 at midnight

Tybee Island is holding thier annual Polar Plunge at noon beside the Tybee Pier. Visit www.TybeeVisit.com for special offers on dining and lodging.

Beaufort

Hunting Island State Park is holding their third annual Pelican Plunge to help raise money for the park's "Discover Carolina School Programs". The program provides hands-on learning for more than 800 Beaufort County students.

When: Jan. 1, 2011 at 1 p.m.
