ATLANTA (WTOC) - No one won Friday night's Mega Millions jackpot of an estimated $242 million.
The pot has rolled over 15 times and now it's worth a cool $330 million. To win, the ticket must match all five numbers plus the Mega ball. The odds of winning without the Megaplier are 1 to 175,711,536, according to the Georgia Lottery website.
A player who matches all five white ball numbers, along with the Mega Ball number, could win approximately $12.6 million a year for 26 years with the annuity option, according to the Georgia. The cash option would result in a single payment worth an estimated $208 million.
The largest U.S. lottery jackpot ever was in March 2007, when two Mega Millions winners split $390 million.
